OxySki is the meeting of two visionary ski schools, born on different sides of the French Alps but driven by the same conviction: making skiing and snowboarding accessible, exciting and unforgettable for everyone.

A family-run French ski school… with a little something extra.
Because here's the thing: we love our clients. In the late 80s and early 90s, while many of you were singing along to the Spice Girls and wearing double denim, we were busy building a ski school made for everyone.
More than 30 years on, we've dropped the denim but kept the blue! With a warm team spread across 16 resorts in the French Alps, we're still driven by the same conviction: making skiing and snowboarding accessible, exciting and unforgettable for everyone.

Four decades.
1986
Starski is born
Rémi Lemaitre and Dominique Marie found Starski in Le Grand-Bornand, built around personalised teaching.
1992
Oxygène is born
The Oxygène ski and snowboard school is born in La Plagne.
1997
Bound for Val d'Isère
Oxygène opens in Val d'Isère — telemark, cross-country, freestyle and freeride join the programme.
2003
Belle Plagne joins the adventure
A second office opens in Belle Plagne, right on the slopes — the Oxygène family grows across the La Plagne ski area.
2011
Burton partnership
Oxygène becomes a certified Burton centre — snowboarding earns its own place in the teaching programme.
2013
The Ubaye valley joins the network
A satellite school opens in the Ubaye valley, at the gates of the Mercantour — the brand starts spreading beyond the Tarentaise.
2016
From 3 to 7 resorts
Merger with Magic in Motion, the reference school of the Three Valleys: Courchevel, Méribel, La Tania, Val Thorens.
2017
The Three Valleys, complete
Les Menuires and Saint-Martin-de-Belleville join the network — seven resorts run by one team.
2018
Megève
Oxygène opens in Megève, at the foot of Mont Blanc, in a different mountain spirit.
2019
Adaptive skiing joins the programme
The first instructors train in adaptive skiing — it becomes a discipline in its own right.
2020
Booking goes online
Lessons and equipment can now be booked in a few clicks, without leaving the mountain.
2021
Tignes joins the network
The school opens in Tignes, led by a local team passionate about the glacier and off-piste terrain.
2021
Serre Chevalier joins the network
The same year, a school opens in Serre Chevalier — the largest ski area in the Southern Alps.
2022
La Rosière joins the network
The school opens in La Rosière, facing Mont Blanc, at the gateway to Italy.
2023
15 disciplines on the programme
From first turns to splitboarding, the programme reaches 15 disciplines taught across the network.
2024
Chamonix, 100% off-piste
A school dedicated to off-piste skiing opens in Chamonix, led by Audrey and Corentin.
2024
300 instructors, 16 resorts
The network reaches 300 instructors spread across 16 resorts in the French Alps.
2026
Oxygène becomes OxySki
More than thirty years and one philosophy come together under a single name. The name changes, the story continues.
